Oommen Philipose Caruthedathu

Oommen Philipose was the only son of Philipose Geevarghese carried the family's legacy onward, a torchbearer of tradition and progress, nurturing the roots while propelling the lineage into the future. 

Oommen Philipose conducted business in wood and started a bank and a chit fund. He bought more land and constructed the two storeyed building after dismantling the Ettukettu house made by his grandfather Geevarghese Pillai. 

Kunjandamma Palamootil

Oommen Philipose married to Kunjandamma from the Palamoottil branch of kuttisseril family of Mavelikara in the year 1854. Their marriage took place as the first marriage ceremony in the newly constructed Thazhakkara Puthen Palli.

Oommen Philipose and Kunjandamma had 4 sons and 4 daughters. Mariamma Caruthedathu, Oommen Geevarghese Caruthedathu, C O Mathai Caruthedathu, C O Philipose Caruthedathu, C O Oommen Caruthedathu, Achamma  Cauthedathu, Kunjandamma Caruthedathu, Accamma Caruthedathu.
